Mechanical Plaque Control Products (MPCP)
Plaque is a major cause of tooth and gum disease. If plaque remains on the teeth for a long time, it can lead to gingivitis and advance to periodontitis. Good oral hygiene is essential for maintaining the health of the teeth and gums.
ICPA has a range of MPCP (mechanical plaque control products) that aid in plaque removal and prevent formation of plaque on the teeth. It is an effective way to treat and stop gingivitis and calculus formation. The ICPA’s MPCP line of products include:
Thermoseal Toothbrush Range
ICPA has designed 3 specialized toothbrushes for the effective removal of dental plaque –THERMOSEAL® Ultra-Soft, THERMOSEAL® Smart, and THERMOSEAL® Toothbrush.
THERMOSEAL® Ultra-Soft Toothbrush is ideally suited for patient’s suffering from dentinal sensitivity. It has soft bristles which will encourage patients to clean sensitive areas without worrying about causing pain while brushing.
THERMOSEAL® Smart Toothbrush comes with a contoured head for cleaning the sensitive areas of the gum line. The ergonomic thumb grip handle offers a better feel and comfort. THERMOSEAL® Toothbrush includes end-rounded Dupont bristles that ensure better cleaning and gum care.
Floss
Flossing plays an important role in the dental care routine. It helps in removing the plaque from areas where a toothbrush cannot reach. ICPA offers two types of dental flosses – Thermoseal Floss and Younifloss. Thermoseal Floss is a waxed dental floss with the mint flavor that ensures effective interdental cleaning. Younifloss comes with individual dental flosses with handles for convenient flossing.
Thermoseal Proxa NS & WS
Interdental brushes are recommended for cleaning dental bridges, braces and spaces between the teeth. ICPA has a set of two interdental brushes- Thermoseal Proxa NS and Thermoseal Proxa WS. They contain 5 interdental brushes with narrow space and wide space bristles. These brushes can be safely used by individuals with extended fillings, crowns or bridges, orthodontic patients or patients with periodontal problems.
Thermoseal Ortho
Thermoseal Ortho is an orthodontic brush that gently massages the gums and helps remove plaque from the gum line.
Plaksee MD Tablets
Plaksee MD Tablets allow for quick identification of plaque by staining new and old plaque differently.
Shine-N- Smile Tooth Polish
It contains Sodium mono fluorophosphate and fluoride that offers a mild abrasive and transforms discolored, yellowish teeth to sparkling white teeth.

Interdental brushes for cleaning dental bridges, braces, and spaces between the teeth. Improved plastic-coated wire will ensure smooth inward and outward movement and better cleaning of interdental spaces. Rubber grip handle to avoid accidental slips.
Directions for use:
- While using either a wide space or narrow space brush, insert it carefully between your teeth. Do not force the brush into small openings.
- Begin at the back of your mouth and on the outside row of teeth. Use repeated in and out motions in each interdental space. Do not use a twisting motion. Repeat procedure from the inside row of teeth, wherever the space permit.
- Rinse mouth after use and brush with your regular toothbrush.
- Wash your Thermoseal Proxa Interdental Brush after use.
- Change your Thermoseal Proxa Interdental brush every week
