Gum Paints

Gum Paints can be used to provide relief from inflamed and bleeding gums, cold sores, and mouth ulcers. ICPA offers a variety of gum paints for you to recommend to your patients. They are easy to use, help solve gum issues and prevent plaque buildup.

Our Zingisol Astringent Lotion includes zinc sulphate in an aqueous base that stops bleeding of gums by coagulating proteins. It has a cooling effect and provides prolonged relief from painful gums and ulcers.

Pyosan gum paint includes superior ingredients like tannic acid glycerine, potassium iodide I.P., iodine I.P., thymol I.P., menthol I.P. and glycerine I.P.q.s.

  • Pyosan Gum Paint 15ml

    Astringent & Counterirritant for inflamed sore gums/spongy gums

    Composition:
    Tannic Acid glycerin 27%, Potassium iodide I.P. 0.05%, Iodine I.P. 0.03%, Thymol I.P. 0.033%, Menthol I.P. 0.05%, Glycerine I.P. q.s.

    Mode of action:
    Bleeding gums & pus discharge are a sign of poor oral hygiene and have to be treated symptomatically by a dentist. Astringents help to stop the bleeding & pus discharge of gums, by coagulating proteins. Iodine & Menthol will act as counterirritant & rubefacient and provide relief from itching & irritation. Menthol will additionally provide comfort to the patient.

    Indication:
    Inflamed sore gums/spongy gums

    Directions for use:
    Take Pyosan gum paint on the fingertip and apply on the affected gum.

    Storage:
    Store in cool, dark place.

    Caution:
    For external use only.

    Astringent & Haemostatic

    Composition:
    Zinc Sulphate I.P. 2% w/v in an aqueous base.

    Mode of action:
    Bleeding gums are a sign of poor oral hygiene and have to be treated symptomatically by a dentist. Styptic (Astringent and haemostatic) agents help to solve the bleeding of gums, by coagulating proteins.

    Indication:
    Bleeding gums. Directions for use: Take 3 to 4 drops Zingisol on the fingertip and massage each quadrant 3 to 4 times a day, or as directed by the dentist or physician.

    Storage:
    Store in a cool, dark place. Caution: For external use only.
